Movie night with the boys

We took the boys to see Alvin and the Chipmunks Tuesday night. It was a cute movie. The boys both did awesome through the whole thing. I wasn't concerned about Kylan but it had been a while since we had taken Jace. He sat still the entire time. Between just us two we ate an entire large bucket of popcorn! No wonder I am gaining so much weight with Miss Klaire, ha! The last 5 minutes or so was very cold however, when Jace accidently spilled the freshly refilled large coke in my lap. So the last few minutes I sat in cold underwear, pants, and a shirt that soaked up the rest. Fun stuff, lol! We had a great time though!

Things I would love for Klaire!

Wish I had a better income, lol!

I am in love with these diaper bags too!

I also love the personalized pacifiers here!

I tried to do a picture but they are have a copyright!

I did go ahead and order these. I used them with Jace and it was great for daycare or anywhere for that matter where a bunch of babies are together
and you are trying to keep up with bottles!

Also cute clothing line at Babies R Us by Cynthia Rowley!

Baby Klaire update

Today I went to the doc. for my sugar test. I have been super dizzy this last week and was glad that I had an appt. today. My iron always gets low during my pregnancies so my doc. gave me a prescription for iron supplements. He also told me that if I needed to do the 3 hr. sugar test then I would find out tomorrow. I had gained 7 1/2 lbs. since last month. I am packing on the lbs. for sure. UGH! I have gained a total of 19 so far and I still have 3 mths to go. YIKES! My bp looked fine and Klaire's heartbeat was 158, so we are doing good. He said I should start feeling better after about 2 wks of the supplements. I am going every 3 wks. now, which is crazy! I can't wait to love on my sweet girl!

Possible bedding

Let me know what you think! I am doing a burnt orange though instead of the turquoise. I am also now thinking I might switch the paisley to this instead to add some girly pink. Though I don't know what I will do with the 4 yards of material that I already bought of the green/orange paisley, lol!

This will be at the top of the curtains except ribbons in the orange & pink if I change the fabric or orange & green if I use the same fabric.

Then for the walls I am thinking of a design similar to this.....(stencil only, not wall letters, will spell out all of her name in those somewhere else)

except the walls will either be a metallic bronze/gold & green, or the pink or orange instead of green...again depends on fabric...
and then this on another wall (the other metallic wall) not sure on the color of design of stencil yet, probably the brown to match the other stencil.

All of this may be too much, I will just have to see once we start painting. Let me know what you think!

Christmas Day

The boys were up at 7:45 ready to open presents. It was sooo much fun seeing their faces and excitment! Kylan recieved a letter from Santa thanking him for his gift. The boys always start out with opening stockings while we wait on their Gammy, Papaw, Aunt Andee & Mackey get there. Good thing we are all neighbors, lol! We had a fun time opening presents here then heading next door to open at my parents. We usually go to my grandma M.'s from there but went and got her and brought her to my parents since the water is up so high. We had a great time there as well. We then headed to John's parents to do presents there and eat dinner. We again got too much and had fun visiting. Next and last, it was off to my grandma S.'s house for the last stop. We ate supper there then headed home for the kids to enjoy playing with their presents. We are beyond blessed and so thankful for God's gift of his son!

Christmas Eve

Today was spent pumping water out of the yard on this rainy Christmas Eve. Tonight we went to John's Aunt Fonda's, which we do every year. I forgot the memory card yet again so no pics from there. We then went to Gammy's and the boys got to open a present there. She got them a kit to make balloon farm animals. They had fun making a few before we headed home to make cookies for Santa. We also had to fix up some oat and glitter for the reindeer and write letters to Santa. I thought it was very sweet of Kylan tonight to leave a present for Santa. He left him a Santa container with hot chocolate and a pencil with Santa carved in the top. Anyway, the boys put their letters in a special Santa mailbox, and we left a magic key for him to get in the house since we don't have a chimney. I can't wait until Santa arrives & watch the boys open presents. The most important thing to realize though is that this we are celebrating the birth of Jesus, and that gift is the most special of all!

Kylan's surgery

Kylan had his surgery this morning for his 4th set of tubes for his ears. We had to be there at 5:30 this morning with his surgery scheduled for 7:30. We got up at 4:15 to head out & get to the hospital in time. At least the traffic wasn't bad that early, lol. It was after midnight before Kylan went to sleep last night b/c he was so nervous. Bless his heart. They gave him the "goofy juice" which isn't pleasant once it starts to take effect. Poor kid is like a sad drunk. He just cries and cries with it. This time was even worse though, he kept wanting to sit up and then he would fall over and I would have to keep him from hitting the floor or the side of his bed. He would then get so mad at me for making him lay down. He was very moody and hateful to be honest, but I know it was the medicine. He did great during surgery and then came recovery. It was really bad getting him calm then. He was mad b/c he was dizzy and everything was so loud and then he would cry. The medicine finally started wearing off and we got to go home. He is now back to his normal self and can hopefully pass his hearing tests now! We go back in 2 weeks for a re-test. We shall see! I am just so thankful that the good Lord has his hands on my sweet boy today and that this is over for now. Hopefully it will be his last set, though they thought that the last time!

Fun night with friends

Every Christmas we have a potluck with Angela, Jeremy, their girls, and Andrea & Mackey. This year we had it at Andrea's house since it will probably be their last in that house. They have someone with on offer on it now. We had a wonderful time visiting and eating of course. The kids had a blast playing with each other as well. These friends are really some of the most fabulous people I know and I can't imagine our life without them!

Festival of Lights

Monday night we headed out to see the Festival of Lights with the preacher & his wife. They were so neat! I would love to say I got lots of great pics, but much to my dismay I realized that once we got there that I had forgotten my memory card in the computer. There were some really cool displays. The boys favorite was the alligator. Mine was either that or the Noah's ark. Anyway the boys did get to see Santa for a pic. Jace wasn't sitting on his lap this time! We had a great time and will go back again next year if we can squeeze it in again. The drive was almost 2 hrs. but worth it! Oh & please look at the boys only in the pic, you can so tell Klaire is helping me with some extra pounds! lol

Church Program

Today was our annual church program. John & I were chosen to be Mary & Joseph, and Kylan was a shepard. We also always have a visit from Mr. C of course. I was super proud of Jace for sitting on Santa's lap. Once he got up there Santa would ask him what he wanted and he would just say, "I want down!" Ha, that would be my child. The boys loved all the presents they received at church. Kylan stayed the night with our preacher & his wife, so the rest of us headed home to get some rest. It was wonderful sleeping in the morning until 8!!! Wanted to post some pics from last night and some I that I have been playing around with on my camera. John got me the EOS Rebel XS which I think I will love once I get used to it. It was a little pricier then I wanted to pay, so hopefully it will be worth it. Kylan got out my old dinosaur camera and has been playing with it. Maybe he will be into photography???

Friday night after decorating waffle cone trees we headed to town to get some supper & groceries. Saturday was spent working on orders and cleaning house. I wanted my house spotless for my club meeting that was here Monday night. I am proud to say that it is still spotless! WHOO HOO! What a great feeling! Sunday we had church of course. Monday was school and then I rushed home to finish up getting ready for Young Mother's Club. We had a great turnout with 17. I fixed treats for everyone to take home and we played Dirty Santa. I ended up with 2 beautiful gold/red butterfly ornaments.Kylan wanted to go with my parents to my dad's Christmas party, so they went and got to eat, play bingo, & see Santa. Yesterday we had school of course & Polar Express activities and then a staff meeting after work. We also played Dirty Santa there where I got a huge gold glittery star. I can't wait to put it on my tree next year! Wednesday was Polar Express day for Kylan's grade. Thursday was school, and school parties and then home to work on orders. Meme went to Jace's party and Gammy went to Kylan's. Friday was our last day for 2 wks. YAY!!! I didn't make Kylan go since we were only there for 2 hrs for a sing-a-long. Afterwards I came home and John, Jace, & I headed to town. Kylan wanted to go with my mom to her friends house to play with her daughter, which was good b/c we needed to finish up on his gifts anyway. I also had to register him for his surgery next Wednesday. We got home long enough to unload purchases, pick up Kylan, & head to John's mom's house for a family get together. Saturday my Uncle Bob & Aunt Shirley came in from LR. We had a great time visiting with them. We headed to town afterwards for haircuts for the boys and more last minute gifts. I don't have many pics b/c I forgot to save them and they were erased when I formatted my scan disk for my new camera John got me for Christmas. Super excited though, he got me a Canon Rebel!
