It's beginning to look a lot like.......

A NURSERY???? Well, maybe just maybe anyway. There is so much that I have changed from my "original" ideas. I did NOT want pink and brown at all. BUT, it seems to be what it has come down to for some reason. I would say actually tan too, not brown. It is suppose to have a pearl effect to it in Step 2. However, Step 1 has to be complete to start on Step 2. John was taking off the shelves in the room because I no longer want to use them, and did caused a TERRIBLE mess with the walls. SOOOOOO....he had to plaster those with several coats of sheetrock mud and sand them. So, needless to say, that wall is still a work in progress. The other brown wall is now complete for Step 1 and maybe we can start on Step 2 hopefully tomorrow. I also could not find the wall decal that I originally wanted, but did find another one that I have ordered. It should be here sometime this week. I am still waiting on the last bit of fabric for the bedding so that we can get started on it and finish the curtains. I still haven't decided about the wall that I wanted the stencil pattern all over. I am thinking now it may be too much. On the other hand, that was the whole reason I picked the pearl/metallic look for the tan wall. Oh the decisions!

Snow days...

Gosh it seems like forever since I have posted, but it has only been a week. Last Saturday night after we got home from eating with John's parents I started having contractions. They were about 4 minutes apart. I was scared that we were going to have to go to the hospital, but they finally went away. I had them off and on all day Saturday but talked with a nurse who works at my clinic. She felt that I was probably getting dehydrated. I don't drink nearly enough so I have been drinking water like crazy and resting as much as possible. It has really seemed to help, along with lots of prayers of course! I haven't had any since then except for an occasional one here and there. Braxton Hicks, which I never had with the boys that I can recall. Anyway, other than that, the rest of the week was normal, school and then working on orders. Thursday was the 100th day of school for us. Kylan was allowed to bring 100 of a certain item. He brought his Pokemon cards and was thrilled. I sent 100 calorie snacks for his class. We had fun in my class making fruit loop necklaces with 100 fruit loops, and trail mix with 10 different snacks so that each kid could have 100 pieces of trail mix to take home. We also did 100 excersies. Friday we were off for the big "winter storm." I have to admit that it snowed the most that it has in a long time! The boys had a blast! Andee came and played with them outside yesterday and then today they got a lid for a sled. Oh, we also got paint for Klaire's room today! Maybe we can paint tomorrow since church was cancelled. I have ordered a large decal for one wall, but haven't decided about the stencil on the other wall yet. It is not the same decal as the orginal one I liked, but I think I like this one better! We shall see!

work, work, work

Jace got into the donuts on the way home from town last night!

Not sure why I am cheesing so much!

In a short time Klaire will be in the mix too!

Gosh it seems as if I have been busy lately. When I am not at school I seem to be working on orders. Love having the ability, but think I may stop taking orders the first of March to concentrate on Klaire's arrival and some time with my boys. There are some simple things that I am still wanting to make for Klaire such as burp clothes, etc. and I haven't had time to do them with my other orders.

After my doc. appt. on Wednesday it was off to church. Thursday night a few of us girls from college got together one last time before we have our babies. Three out of the 4 of us, are preggo. I am 28 wks, almost 29. Stephanie is 32, and Lauren is 39 weeks. I am so glad we got to get together. The next time we get together we will all have our bundles of joy with us, which will be fun and interesting, ha! Missed you girls that didn't get to make it!

Today I have been working on orders all day. John went duck hunting this morning and then came home to entertain the boys, lol. Gatlin is with us this weekend so the boys are having a blast. I got tickled today looking at all of them on the couch. I am wondering where in the world Little Miss is going to fit, ha! Poor girl, I know how it feels to be outnumbered, so glad I am not the only girl now though. Tonight we are heading out to eat chinese with John's parents. YUMMY!

Doc. update

I went to the dr. this afternoon for my check-up. I have gained another 6 lbs., so now up to 25 lbs. so far with too long to go, lol! Klaire's heartbeat was 148 and my blood pressure was perfect. I go back in another 3 wks. and then will start my 2 wk. visits two times and then go to weekly. Let's just keep praying that this pregnancy continues to go well!
On another note, yesterday I got the sweetest package in the mail with a shirt that says, "Princess in Progress" on it! I wore it today and got so many compliments! Thanks Kristen! That was super sweet of you! It made my day!

Where did the week go?

Monday we started back to school after our 4 days off from snow days/wkend. The boys got back in routine nicely with no tears! YAY! Tuesday was school, then a staff meeting, followed by Young Women's meeting that night. I ate so much! It was southern style potluck, yummy! Wed. and Thurs. were school of course. Thursday night the Kindergarten teachers went to eat and catch a movie. We saw It's complicated, which had some hilarious parts in it. Friday after school John & I met his parents for supper and then off to get groceries. Saturday I spent all day working on orders. I got 6 done, along with all my laundry washed, the house straightened up, and Klaire's letters for her wall done. John and Kylan went duck hunting in the afternoon so Jace & I got some time to nap. Today we have special singing at church and lunch there too. Then home to work on orders before we head to Gatlin's church tonight. He is getting baptized, such a praise! I only hope that all my children seek God and his will in their lives! In baby news...I am in my last trimester with hopefully around 10 weeks or less to go if I go early! It's funny, I am banking on going early just cause I did with the boys. She may prove to be totally opposite and I could go late! I go back Wednesday for a check-up!

Snow day #2 & Girls Night

Well, Friday it was no snow again. John was off too of course, so he took the boys out for a little while in it while I worked on some orders. Other than that, we haven't done much. I bought the boys Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs so they have watched that a few times while playing. It is just so cold to do much! I did get to get out and meet friends Allison & Olivia for supper. We had a blast and I think pretty much shut down the restaurant, ha! I can't wait to do it again! Oh, I also got a few hats, and flower headbands for Miss Priss yesterday. I loved them so much I got 3 more that I am picking up tomorrow! I only gave $22 for all of them so now it is just waiting for her to get here to wear them! I am 27 weeks now, going into my last trimester! Can't beieve it!

SNOW DAY!

I woke up every hour or so last night looking outside for snow. I didn't want to miss school already and start using our snow days when it is only the first week back to school from break. Well, I guess it doesn't matter what I want, lol. I looked out and saw nothing and was excited that we were going. Apparently, I just can't see. I got up & put on make-up before reading my daily devotion. I then got on facebook to update my status with a bible verse, as I try to do daily. I started noticing all these posts saying no school. I went and looked out the living room window, and lo and behold, SNOW! I checked my phone & saw where John had called me on the way to work to let me know it was closed, and then I checked the local news to double check. Oh well. I have to say it was nice spending the day with my boys in the snow. We stayed out a lot longer than I thought they would. I actually had to make them come in. We made snow cream as well. YUMMY! We then braved the weather & road conditions and went to Kylan's ENT appt. to re-test his hearing since surgery. His hearing is 100% again, thank you LORD!!!

My little duck hunter

John took Kylan duck hunting again this morning. He hasn't been very many times, but loves to go. Well, they didn't make it to the blind b/c their boat tore up. They were stranded on this little patch of land for a couple of hrs. until someone came to their rescue. John said they flipped the boat up to its side to protect them from the wind, and they had a little heater going. Hmmm, maybe those episode of survivor man that he watched all of the time did help, lol! Someone finally came and got them. I hope to goodness Kylan doesn't get sick! Oh, and yes my child had gloves on at first, until John said he tripped and got them wet.

Chuck E. Cheese with the boys

The boys got gift cards to Chuck E. Cheese for Christmas from a couple at church, so we decided that since we were both off it would be a great day to take advantage. We first ate lunch at John's parents, the normal "New Year's" menu....black eyed peas, hog jowl, etc, before heading to town. We took back a few things that I needed to return or exchange first and then headed to McDonald's for the boys ice cream. Then it was off to play. The boys had a blast and it is always great to see them having fun!

New Years

We went to eat at Chilli's and to catch a movie with Angela and Jeremy for New Year's Eve. We even got to do some shopping while waiting on the movie! We say Did you Hear about the Morgans. It was a cute movie. We had a blast hanging out with some of our best friends ever! Hope everyone has a blessed and happy New Year!!
