Okay, so apparently I didn't get the eyes in the back of my head when I had children. Though my kiddos at school would disagree. Maybe I left them at school the last day. I WAS in a hurry to get out of there, ha! I have been going through Kylan's clothes/toys/room in general getting rid of stuff. One of my major goals again this summer. Notice, I say again. I did not get that all accomplished last summer. However, this summer.....clutter free is my motto. Anyway to get to the point of my story....I was in Kylan's room cleaning when I noticed that I didn't hear Jace. First clue that he was into something. I go in the living room where he has found an ink pen and is scribbling ALL OVER MY LEATHER COUCH!!!! Not just one spot either...two huge spots. I took the pen and sent him to play in Kylan's room while I hairspray the couch, in hopes that it will come clean. It does not, by the way. Kylan then brings Jace to me and says, "Uh mom, I think you should look at Jace." I turn around and he is covered in green marker. Seriously kid, get some paper!!! I get him mostly cleaned up and give up on the couch. I went back to Kylan's room and come out to see that Jace has unfolded and thrown all of the clothes that I am donating all over the living room. Nice, really nice. So all of you with 2 year olds or younger....BE PREPARED, really prepared. Oh, and don't leave your eyes somewhere, you might need them!!! Also, any suggestions on getting that ink out would be fabulous!!! With all that said though, I don't know what I would do without that little man, ink stains and all!

First of all, I love that in all the madness you still managed to grab your camera! Second, your couch just has a little extra character. You should market this style. I'd call it the "I obviously have kids" collection. I'm so glad I have friends to warn me about these things...I'm thinking plastic covered furniture sounds rather appealing!
Shea, it was either grab my camera and laugh about it, or just cry, lol! I figured grabbing the camera was better for my stress level, lol!
I love the picture of Hulk Jace! Sorry about your couch. Haven't our kids all made their mark in our lives... literally and figuratively? And, about donating clothes? Do you not keep Kylan's stuff for Jace? The boys were always in the same size so I never had to worry about it... just pass stuff down to my nephews. What size in kylan in? If he has any good jeans size 5 or 6 I will buy them from you.
I do keep the good clothes Stac for Jace, but these are jeans with on hole in the knee (just play clothes basically). They are all size 5.
Oh no!! That is why we bought an extended warranty on our leather piece. You should probably call a furniture place or cleaners and ask if they know how to get it out--my guess is it has to be professionally cleaned and won't be cheap. Kids!!!
You sound like you have been at my house!!! And I only have one!!!
Oh Amber I feel your pain!! I am going throught the "Terrible Twos" as well!! I have to make myself laugh so I don't cry a lot of times!
OMG!!!!! That was just too much for one day! :) I'm sure my time is coming!
Been there done that, but...Emma was on Albuterol at the time. She was a beautiful blue/green color. I too have pictures; otherwise no one really believes you. Her work was done in record time, 2 min. Leather sofa issue: everyone needs furniture with character. My thoughts too, Shea!
Oh my goodness!! I don't even know what else to say! Caden gets into plenty and he just started crawling!! I don't even want to think about all the trouble he will get into later. I do have to say, I just couldn't wait to hear what you had to say next! I just hope there is help for your couch!
While I was taking a shower the other day, holly got into my stampin up spots (ink) and inked our bedroom wall. About a 3 foot radius.
try those magic erasers, or that leather furniture cleaner stuff...i know they have it for cars so i am sure it would work for living room furniture
