Kylan's writing and some new projects I made for a friend. She picked out her materials, all I did was put it together.

Hissing Cockroaches and a new tooth

Got your attention didn't I? I took the boys to the library this morning for storytime. The theme this summer has been about bugs, hence the hissing cockroaches. The lady read several books about bugs, one about the ugliest bug. It was cute. She then brought out the hissing cockroach. The kids were all intrigued, of course! She let the kids touch them, which of course makes them hiss. I was surprised that Kylan wanted to touch it, but he loved it! He then picked out some books and his prizes for reading 10 books this week. Then it was off to run some errands. I needed some fabric and to hit a few sales. I got two cute sweaters at Steinmart since they are going out of business they were 60% off. I also went to Pitter Patter and got Jace two shirts for 40% off. I even found Kylan a shirt but he didn't like it so I put it back. We got back home late and my shoulder was killing me from carrying Jace around all day. I had fallen Sun. night and hurt it, but it didn't bother me yesterday. I guess it was hurting today because of Jace's 23 lbs. Jace was cranky today, but he has cut tooth number 10 and two corners of tooth number 11 (a molar). Anyway, my computer is being worked on so I can't post any pictures until I get it back, but wanted to atleast update. I borrowed my brother in laws laptop for the time being but it's old and doesn't have a place for a scandisk and I can't find the cord that goes from my camera to the laptop. I will get them posted though. I got some of Kylan with the cockroach, ewwwww!

Turtle Trouble

Kylan's Gammy called this morning to tell him she had a turtle in her yard. Kylan was so excited so we went right away to see it. Poor turtle! Kylan and Jace were intrigued, and Jace even held it. Kinda a hamburger hold, but he held it. Kylan decided that we needed to take it to Gammy's rock pool in the back yard for him to live. I thought I better post some pictures while my internet was cooperating.

Today we went to church as usual. After church we went to John's parents for lunch. Most of the grandkids were there and had a fun time riding the 4-wheeler, playing games etc. Poppie even got a little help washing the farm truck. After p.m. services we went to my mom and dad's for supper. Yay, no cooking for me today! After supper I had a guy come look at my computer. He worked on it for over an hr. and basically told me it was probably on the verge of crashing. I am NOT excited about it either. So again, I may not have access to my blog for a few days or more, but I will try to update the best I can.

Yesterday I wasn't able to post, my internet again!!! John and Kylan worked on his go cart all morning yesterday. It had made a funny sound and quit running. John got it fixed though and Kylan was very excited. I on the otherhand worked all say inside cleaning out some things. One of my summer goals by the way. Unfortuantly it was only one room that got the major overhaul. Jace's closets and things were needing reoganized and gone through. I packed away all of the clothes 0-12 months that he could no longer wear (sniff, sniff). I then went through every drawer and got rid of the stuff I didn't have too much emotional attachment too and got it put in bags. (Those are for you Chan!) John, Jeremy, and John decided to go to a car show, plus Kylan needed a trip to town for a haircut. Later we all met at Jeremy and Angela's, along with Malinda and Roy to let the kids swim for awhile, and to eat some wings and pizza. It was all soooo delicious. Jeremy is an excellent cook! We all had a great time visiting and hope to do it again soon.

Okay everyone, my computer is loaded down with viruses. I don't know when I can get it fixed, but just wanted you to know that I am able to post mine and everyonce in awhile look at some of your blogs. I feel lost cause I can't read them all and I'm wondering what is going on with everyone. Hmmmm,I think that is why the phone was invented??? lol! I can't check my email, and it is kicking me off of the internet every few minutes. So, in case you are wondering why I'm not leaving comments, it's cause I can't!!! Hopefully this matter will be solved soon!!!!

What a night!

We went to Jonesboro tonight to go eat and get groceries, run some errands, you know, the usual for us on a Friday night. Well, I decided I was in the mood for Chili's. John said that was fine and off we went. We waited FOREVER on our food. It was good and all, but atleast 4 other tables (we were there before all of these people by the way) were served before us. John was getting pretty frustrated. He is usually not one to actually say something about it. He may grumble but NEVER says anything. It is usually up to me to be the "bad guy." He did say something however, and we did end up getting supper for free. After that drama we did our errands and then it was off to Walmart. We decided to try the $1 redbox rental. We rented Jumper and Juno. Right now John is trying to get one of the DVD's to read, so we will see how that goes!!!
