Klaire~ 6 months

Can't believe Klaire is halfway to her first birthday! It was neat that she turned 6 mths on my birthday. She is becoming more & more fun everyday!! She is a pro at sitting up and getting around on the floor. She will rock on all fours if you put her up. She has just started 2nd Stage foods and loves to eat. She is still nursing and still does not sleep through the night. Not sure if she will ever master that, lol! She loves to sit up & splash in the big tub with Jace. She is 16.4 lbs and 26 in. long. She has no teeth yet, but they seem to be coming & her gums are really bothering her. She says "bye, bye, bye" all of the time and will shake her head no. Too funny! She is still in size 2 diapers, however could go to size 3, but we still have so many 2's left from my diaper showers that we are trying to use them first. It is nice that we haven't had to buy any yet! God has blessed us with this sweet girl for sure!

Miss Priss got some BLING

Okay, so some of you will think I am a terrible momma, and some of you will understand......but either way, today we got Miss Klaire's ears pierced. She only cried a minute and hasn't been bothered by them since. My reasoning of course, is that she won't remember that it hurt, and that I can take care of them much better without her messing with them since she is little. (Hopefully) Anyway, here are the pics!

Kylan's Field Trip

Kylan had his first field trip for 2nd grade at the Parker Homestead. My mom went with him and took lots of pics for me! He said he had a blast. They learned about making brooms, making molasses, and learned about the good ole days. He also informed me that "back then" the oldest child was responsible for cleaning out the "pee pot"! HA! Here are a few of the pics mom took for me!

Kylan's birthday party!

We decided to have a friends/family party for Kylan this year for the first time in a couple of years. We thought that a hayride/smores party would be fun! I knew of about 10 kids that would for sure be there, but was shocked when 30 ended up able to come!!! Then there was 20 adults!!! WOW what a turnout! Kylan had a blast!!! God has truly blessed us with a multitude of people who care about us! I let Kylan choose two of his friends to stay the night for the first time ever as well. WOW, didn't know that 7/8 year olds could stay up till after 2 and still get up at 6:30!!!! I am one exhausted momma!!!

Soccer begins......

The boys are both playing soccer this year....at the same time...different fields! Soooo, John & I are taking turns watching each kid for half the game and then switching so we see both boys! Talk about BUSY!!! We had games Monday & Tuesday night this week and then Kylan had practice on Wednesday. Every week for the next 6 weeks we will have games every Monday and Tuesday! It just started and I am already ready for this season to be OVER!!! LOL, they are enjoying it, but man is it tiring!!

Calling those HOGS!!!

Saturday night we headed to LR for the Razorback game. We got there around 11ish and tailgated all day! We had a blast!! We took all 4 kiddos, which was an amazing feat in and of itself, but they were all AWESOME!!! I could not have asked for better kids....especially considering the ages range from 5 months to 13 years old!!! We won the game which is always a good thing, even if their playing was sloppy. Anyway, hope you enjoy these sweet pics of our hog fans!!! Oh, and the poor cupcakes were melting away by the time I got the pic!!!

Are you ready for some football????

We took the kiddos to the first ballgame of the year Friday night. It is always the biggest rivarly game around here. It doesn't help that I graduated from one school and John the other, lol. The kids however, will take after their daddy since they go to his school. Kylan and Gatlin played football over on the sides with all of the other kids. Jace found his little girlfriend from daycare and played with her and a frog during the game. It was fun even though we lost to the team where I graduated. I apologize for the pics, I got to the game with a dead camera battery, so these are from my phone.
