Saturday~ Goodbye HH!

Today was the last day At Hilton Head. We had a fabulous vacation and were very blessed to get to go and enjoy so much family time. God is GOOD!!!

Day 7~ Friday

Today we headed to the beach for our last full day on the beach......The boys played with their buddies that they had made friends with earlier in the week. Jellyfish were bad today...mom, dad, & I got stung bad. We later got ready and headed to Harbor town to eat and let the kids listen to Greg Russell preform. My parents went on a dinner cruise to celebrate their 40th anniversary while we shopped, ate, and played in the playground area before the singing preformance. Happy Aniversary Mom & Dad!!! Proud that you guys are able to celebrate! So many kids don't have parents who are together! Later that night we went back to the Salty Dog for ice cream and then our last walk on the beach!

Day 6 ~ Thursday

We had beach time and family pics today, as well as more shopping! We also hit the pool.

Day 5 ~ Wednesday

Today was a BUSY day! It stormed last night and was cloudy all day today so we stayed off the beach (except for family pictures!) Insead we headed to Harbor town and did some shopping. The boys went on a pirate cruise with John and had a blast. They gave them an eye patch, a tattoo, and a pirate name. They also got to wear pirate vests. We of course let them buy a sword a piece, and Jace also wanted the doo-rag. I am sure I didn't spell that right, lol! The boys got to search for treasure on a map, and spray Stinky Pete with water cannons. They even got "gold coins" at the end of their journey. I would suggest it for sure if you ever go to HH. Afterwards we toured the lighthouse and then our nightly walk on the beach!

Day 4~ Tuesday

We started today off with a huge breakfast that daddy cooked! Thanks dad, it was YUMMY!!! It was also Mackey's birthday and Klaire turne 4 mths. too! In other Klaire news she is rolling over like crazy now from stomach to back! We had another great day at the beach The boys played with their new buddies, who are brother & sister. Ages 7 and 4 (perfect!) No walk tonight though, lots of lightening!!!

Day 3 ~ Monday

Today we spent all day at the beach and then grilled out for supper. Just a relaxing day at the beach. Another nightly walk to end another beautiful day!!!

Day 2 ~ Sunday

We spent all day on the beach today and found tons of sand dollars! We also saw hermit crabs and starfish. Pretty neat for the boys! Jace found him a little friend to play with and had a blast. What I do love about this beach is that there is a very shallow part that was perfect for Jace and for me. I was able to put up an umbrella and let Klaire play in the water a lot and still be in the shade. Kylan likes to play out in the ocean so John could play with him while I watched. Last night we went to Harbor town and shopped, listened to music, & ate at The Salty Dog Cafe. YUMMY! Of course, another night of crab hunting and walking on the beach! :)

Hilton Head here we come.....

We left Friday night at midnight to start the 12 hr. drive to Hilton Head, SC. This is our first trip there, we usually go to Destin. We were worried that we couldn't enjoy the ocean and would be stuck on the beach if we went this summer, because of the oil. Kylan rode with Andee & Mackey, who had planned on doing some extra fun stuff in Altlanta. (until Mackey got sick that is!) Poor Mackey!! Anyway, we got to there around 1 and luckily was able to check in to the house we rented early, so we unloaded and headed out to the beach the rest of the day. That night we started our nightly walks! It is beautiful here, such "southern" charm, and not at all "touristy" like Destin. I love the beaches of the gulf better than here in the Atlantic, but as far as everything else, it is BEAUTIFUL here!!! Here are some pics from Day 1!!!
