Christmas Tree Plantation

This year we decided to take the boys to an actual tree farm instead of Lowe's to get our living room tree. I know, I know, we have been pathetic, lol. It was fun for the boys. They got popcorn & hot chocolate. We went to the tallest tree that we could see first, but noticed a couple of bare spots & decided to look more. However, we quickly discovered that it was the only 9-10 ft. tree on the plantation. Soooo, needless to say, it was the one that found its way to our home. It was a neat experience and one we plan to continue.

Klaire~8 mths

Klaire is 8 mths and crawling everywhere. She is pulling up to everything and walks if you hold her hands. She is 18.6 lbs and wearing 12 mth clothes. She claps, waves bye, says dada and bye bye. She also gives "sugars" but with her mouth wide open!! Miss Priss has a temper but is a good baby. She is still not sleeping through the night but the boys didn't either so it is nothing new. She is in a size 3 diaper and still eating stage 2 foods. We tried stage 3 but she gags and spits it out while shaking her head no. She loves Mum Mums and fruit puffs. I have not given her juice yet, but as long as she is nursing I don't feel that she needs it. She has no teeth, though mom & I think we felt the edge of one the other day. I think her gums have swollen back over it. We get so many compliments on her eyes and skin color. Every day is more fun watching her learn new things!!!

Happy Turkey Day

What can I say........I am overjoyed & humbled with all of the wonderful blessings my Savior has given to me. I do not deserve ANY of them!!! He has blessed me with a beautiful family that is now complete. He has blessed me with parents that couldn't be better. Also, with great in-laws, family, and friends. All I can say is that I want to give Him the glory!!

Way Behind!!

I am way behind in the blogging world......my laptop crashed and I am in the process of having everything saved & removed from it (hopefully)!!! It has all my pics and embroidery designs on it, so it is imperative that I can get it retrieved!!! Soooo, for the time being I am using a very old dinosaur of a computer. It is so old that I can't even put my scan disk in it for saving/uploading pics. Yes, that old!!! Kylan said, "WHOA, that is one old computer! " HA! Anyway, we have been busy as always. School is going by fast. Kylan and I had perfect attendance for the 1st 9 wks. He also had all A's, so we were very proud of him. He loves to read and has almost finished all of the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series. Jace is doing really well also. They say he is so well behaved and quiet. (Gosh, my kiddos are complete opposites!!) As for Miss Priss, she is crawling everywhere, pulling up to everything, and even trying to stand on her own. She will stand for a few seconds until she realizes she is not holding on, lol. She is doing well at daycare as well. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving already!!! I have tons of cute pics of Miss K in her turkey attire, but until I can upload the pics will have to wait!

Merry Christmas Pageant

Klaire was in her second pageant today. I was a nervous wreck!! She placed 1st alternate and won prettiest dress! I am so proud!! :)

Miss Priss is crawling!!!

Well, Klaire had to picked up from daycare on Tues. because she was running a temp. I got her into her peditrician that afternoon because I wanted to make sure it wasn't her first ear infection. (She had been pulling at her ear the day before!) Anyway, she had no infection, just fluid on her ears. She was given cough/decogestant meds. I feel very blessed that she just turned 7 mths and that is the first doc. visit we have been to other than well check-ups. And, the fact that she still wasn't really bad sick, just a cold. Anyway, onto the crawling part. She couldn't go back to school Wed. because of the temp. so my mom kept her so I could go to work. Well, she text me that morning and when I checked my phone on my lunch break I read that she was crawling. I thought hmmmmm, but lo and behold, by the time I got home she was crawling all the way across the room. I was sad to miss her first time, but glad my mom got to see it. So excited that she is crawling! And this whole weekend she is now pulling up to things and letting go and only holding on with one hand! WOW is all I can say. She is saying dada as well!!

Kylan's cabin stay

Kylan was invited to a birthday party and they rented 2 cabins for the boys to stay the night in. Kylan had a blast and I am so thankful Stac took pics of the boys for me!!!
