Homestead Trick or Treating

We met our friend Elizabeth and her little girl Kolbie and went trick or treating at the Parker Homestead tonight. The kids got way too much candy, but had fun as always! We had a ninja, pirate, and little zebra on our hands. Kolbie was a cute little peacock!

Pumpkin Carving Party

We were invited to a pumpkin carving party today. Each child brought their own pumpkin and wore their costumes. They had treats galore and got to run around and play outside with friends, and even got to bring home treat buckets. We had a lot of fun and it was such a neat idea!

Jace's Halloween party

Mom went to Jace's Halloween party at preschool for me. They had a hayride and got to go trick or treating around the town square. We made ghost buckets filled with treats for his friends at school. Thank goodness for a wonderful mom and dad who always help me get them ready!!!

Klaire ~ 7 months

Well Miss Priss is 7 months old now. She is growing so fast! She is nursing 3 times a day and takes 3 bottles a day at school. She only takes around 5 oz. at a time. She eats baby food 3 times a day as well. She is not crawling but can scoot backwards and get all over the place. She is pulling up on anything she can, not to a standing position but things like her diaper bag or my knees if I am sitting Indian style. She is over 16 pounds and is wearing 9-12 month clothes. She needs a size 3 diaper, however I am still squeezing her into the last few packages of 2's that we have from showers. I still can't believe we haven't bought diapers or wipes for that matter. (So blessed) She LOVES bath time and being held. She still doesn't care for her car seat. She shakes her head no, claps, and can say bye bye. She is already showing a preference for her left hand, though it is still early for that. She still doesn't have any teeth, but drools like crazy. And in the sleep dept., I still am not sure we will ever make it through the night every night in a week. Oh, and she pinches like crazy. I swear I have so many little bruises from her pinching while she nurses. OUCH!!! I can't believe how fast my baby girl is growing and her 1st birthday seems to be approaching way too quickly for my taste! We are truly blessed with Klaire!!!

The big 3-0!

Thank goodness is wasn't mine, think I might be in tears, lol! We celebrated Jeremy's 30th birthday at Outback. It was just a small group of us, but good company is always welcome, and we had it for sure. Andrea, Mackey, Angela, Jeremy, Kyle, and of course, me and John (also Klaire) enjoyed adult conversation. We don't get that often, ha! Happy 30th Jeremy!

Monster Bash

We held our first ever school dance at the elementary school for good behavior this year. The kids had a blast. I got tickled at Kylan cause a lot of the little girls wouldn't leave him alone, lol. I was proud that he wasn't too embarrassed to take a picture with me. I guess I am still cool enough for now, HA!

Fun Fun News!!!

I am going to be an AUNT for the first time on my side of the family!!! Andrea is not that far along, but we are praying for a smooth pregnancy. She is due on June 17th (unless it changes after her doc. visit/ultrasound in Nov. We are beyond EXCITED!!!

Birthday time!

Andrea & I celebrated the last birthday in our 20's!!! A little depressing, but life goes on, and if I am as blessed in my 30's as I am now, then bring it on! :) We didn't do anything on our birthday, in fact we had a soccer game. We waited and celebrated with the family on the Sunday after our birthday.

Homecoming

My niece was Homecoming maid at her school for her Senior year. We are so proud of her!
