a little visit

Tonight John's brother and wife, and little Cameron came over for a visit. It is so much fun seeing the boys play together. There is 6 months difference between Cameron and Jace so it should be interesting when they get older, lol.

Valentine Treats

Here are the Valentine treats that I did for my class, Kylan's, and Jace's. We did these last year too, so I'm sure this is the last year that we will do them. They are super cheap and cute though. The pics aren't very good, but the shovels say, "I DIG YOU!"

Catching up....

Wow, can't believe that I haven't posted since Tuesday. That's long for me, lol. Don't even think I have been that busy. Wednesday was back to school and a normal schedule for us all. Thursday night was a girls night out for the Kindergarten teacher crew. We went and ate supper and then off to the movies. We saw New in Town. It was cute. Friday Night we headed to John's dad's 60th surprise party. It was at a community center with a basketball court. We had a great time. I got some exercise and got pretty good at hitting those 3 point shots. (And I was in heels, lol) A young lady took some family pictures for us. She also ask me how old I was. When I told her 27, she asked if I was kidding. I asked her how old she thought I was, and guess what she said 19! Seriously, I could have fallen in the floor. Anyway, I am so sore today, which is sad. Today we went to town. I took my embroidery machine back, it keeps messing up) to see if they can do something about it. Kylan also had a birthday party at a karate place. Oh, and I got a new camera, YAY, I can post pics again. The kids had a great time at that. We are now at home and relaxing after a long day.

Out and About

Today I got up and went shopping! That is of course, always a nice way to start out the day. John is ready for me to go back to school just so I will quit going shopping, lol. His wish will come true, we go back tomorrow, and am I ever sad. I really have the hearts desire to be a stay at home mom. I love spending the days at home with them. Anyway, I had to post something for my benefit, mostly because if I don't write it down I will forget. I have been doing 100 crunches every night for over 3 weeks now and I just got finished doing them tonight. Kylan kept talking to me about why I was doing "cramps" every night. I finally corrected him, while stifling my laughter, that they were crunches, not cramps. Something else funny. Jace was sitting in the floor, getting his toe jam out, yuck I know. If was funny though, because I got a piece of lint out from his sock and threw it down and then he started looking for it. Gross, but funny at the same time. Why no pics? My camera is broken, a tragedy for my blog, lol. I wanted to get a pic of Jace with Kylan's baseball hat on and a football in his hand. Yet another reason why my kids probably won't play sports their entire lives.

Oh the things I can accomplish...

if I was a stay at home mom. I made a necklace today and got an order finished. I also finished cleaning out Jace's closets and got all his clothes that he has outgrown boxed up. I got the house mostly clean, except for the dusting and mopping. I also visited with me grandma, and managed to read a little while Jace napped. I also got some really fun pictures of me chasing Jace around the house. What a workout! Fair warning....Jace is not exactly centered in all of the pics, but he was running so I did the best I could. Oh, and on a side note. Jace has been paci free for 2 days! YAY!

Silly groundhog

So the groundhog saw his shadow, which means, YUCK, 6 more weeks of winter. Not as if this surprised me, but I think we have had enough of this bad weather already this year. Of course this is coming from someone who absolutely despises winter.

Feels like summer...

Jace usually runs to hit the camera now when it comes out, instead of being a ham.

Jace loves apples!

Ok, not really. But it has been nice to not HAVE to get up and go to school lately. We have ended up missing 3 days so far and will not have school again tomorrow. I am sure we will go back Tues, so I am going to enjoy tomorrow like it is my last day of summer vacation, lol. Jace and I have spent a lot of time together, just the two of us, lately. John and Kylan, or Kylan and his Papaw have been spending quite a bit of time outside and Jace is just too little to run around after them, yet anyway. Here are some random pics I have taken of him.
