Okay, so a REALLY scary thing happened today with Jace. I was on the phone with Christina when I saw that Jace was choking on something. He was in the floor playing with Kylan's books so I didn't have a clue what it could have been since I didn't notice anything but the books there earlier. I basically threw the phone down, of course, and starting beating, okay not beating, but trying to figure out what Jace was choking on. He started throwing up, which was a good sign, but still nothing that I could see him choking on. I am then calling mom on speeddial with one hand while trying to help Jace with the other. I didn't know what else to do basically. He kept throwing up and finally after the third time I finally saw something in his mouth. Kylan the whole time is in the background crying I don't want Jace to die momma. I am of course panicking but trying to be brave for Kylan's sake. I grab the object out of Jace's mouth, and of course mom is running over from next door and gets here to help. He is no longer choking, just scared. I ask mom if I need to go to the ER just to have him checked over, she says no he is fine, just gave us all a good scare. Well, the object was a small piece of plastic off of Kylan's yogurt package which had been unnoticed when the books were placed in the floor by Kylan this afternoon. So anyway, the point of this blog, besides of course giving God the glory that he watches over my precious babies, is BABYPROOFING, BABYPROOFING, BABYPROOFING!!! I always make a point to look for small things and to vacumm as much as I can, but there is still room to miss. Also, after it is all said and done, I thank God that he protects my family and that my boys love each other. I am posting some pictures of pre-baby drama from this morning before school. One of them shows him chewing on the tag attached to a blanket, which just goes to show, everything goes straight to the mouth.

9 months
Little man turned 9 months old on Wed. It is so hard to believe that he has been here for as long as it took him to grow inside my belly. I can not believe that he will turn one in three short months. He is doing so well. He says mama, dada, and lots of other babbles. He also waves bye bye on occasion. He is still not full-fledged crawling yet, but instead "army crawls" like he is sneaking up on an attacker. Bless his heart, at least he is finally trying, lazy little thing, ha! He is also pulling up to things. He has 6 teeth, and they hurt very much when he bites. We went to the doc. today for a 9 month check-up, plus he has been tugging at his ear again. We waited there in the clinic for an hour and a half, for them to tell us what we already knew, that he has yet another ear infection. This only makes his third, which is still much better than Kylan did at this age. He had around 14 by his first birthday and had tubes in at 13 months. Jace checked in at 21 lbs. exactly. He is getting so chunky. He is already wearing 12-18 month clothes. I am looking forward to watching him learn to walk and talk. Kids are such incredible beings, and I can't wait to have one more. Speaking of babies, we went to visit Angela and baby Macie this week. She is adorable and doing really well. It was wierd seeing John holding a little girl. I told him that he could give me a little girl one day, but we all know about those Suttons, they only create little boys. That is okay too, though, I already have another boy name picked out for someday......

a busy day
Saturday turned out to be a very eventful day. One of my very best friends Angela, delivered her beautiful little girl Macie Grace. She was 7 lbs even and reminds me so much of big sis Maggie. I was amazed at how much they look alike. Angela was two weeks early, which didn 't bother her a bit. She was so ready to see that sweet little girl. John and I took the kids up to the hospital to see and hold her. Of course the kids had to stay in the waiting room, so John and I had to take turns seeing her. I'm hoping one day that Macie will be Jaces' little sweetheart. Kylan tells everyone that Maggie is his girlfriend, so we might as well set up the babies too, ha ha! It would be wonderful if they really did end up being together, how nice would it be to have your best friends as your in-laws?
