ASU petting farm

We had a fun day at the ASU pet farm. The kids loved the animals. Afterwards we ran to a local church pumpkin patch. All in all, a great day!!

Pumpkin hollow

I was blessed to be able to take a personal day and go to the pumpkin patch with Jace on his first kindergarten field trip. We were really rushed for time and it was a long drive but worth it. Some of those kiddos will never have the opportunity otherwise. I hope that we can go back one Saturday and enjoy an entire day. And by the way...not sure why the pic is sideways except that I blog from my phone and don't know how to turn it lol.

Movie time

We took 7 kids (counting my own) to the movies for kylans birthday. We had a blast and the kids were all well behaved!

Under construction

So, as if we don't always have enough going on...we have decided to box in my dining room and make kylan his own bedroom. The office/playroom will
now be the new dining room. They are the same size anyway. My dad is doing the labor and we are just doing a little at a time so it may be Christmas before we get done. So excited that the boys will finally have their own rooms. Poor jace has half his stuff in klaires room and half in kylans room. It is a much needed arrangement to get another bedroom. This also will allow us to redo our master bedroom since we have to move our doorway down to make a hall. Would love to add on but it's just not in the cards for now so we will do what we can. We still have so many plans for our small house but in time hopefully we can get it all done.

Happy birthday kylan!

Can't believe kylan is 10 years old today! Wow! He has not made up his mind on what he wants to do yet...thinking maybe taking a few friends to the movies. We shall see...I had really wanted to eat lunch with him at school today but instead went to the funeral of a very special man in my life. He was the preacher at my wedding and was like a grandfather to me. He told me every Sunday at church that I was like his own and how proud he was of me. He will be greatly missed.
