Klaire ~ 3 months

Miss Priss is 3 mths. old already! I know that I will say this each and every month, but WOW!! She is 12 lbs ( a little over) and is getting better (colic-wise) every day. She still has her good days and bad days, but still better. She is taking between 4-5 oz and has had cereal twice now. She LOVES it! I don't give her much at all since her doc. really didn't want her having any until 4 mths. She really likes to "talk" & coo. She sounds like she is saying "I good" when she has a converstation with us. She likes tummy time A LOT more than the boys did and is doing so well with raising her head up. She sleeps between 4-5 hrs. most nights between feedings, but only cat naps during the day. When she is ready to eat or sleep she gets mad until she is done eating or falls asleep. She smiles and laughs all of the time, which just melts our hearts. She still has blue eyes for now also. We are enjoying every day with her and thank God for her every day!

Father's Day

We celebrated Father's Day by first going to church and praising our Heavenly Father. I am so thankful for all that he has given me & our family. After church we headed to my parents to eat lunch and let daddy open his presents. Later my dad took the boys to see The Karate Kid, and John & Gatlin went to the farm to visit with Poppie. I am sooooo thankful for all the dads in my life. I have John who is the best daddy to our kids. I am so thankful that he is a Christian daddy who seeks to serve God and that he is hands on with our kids. For my daddy, who goes above and beyond in everything he does. I am so proud that he has been a God loving man as well. I can't imagine not growing up in a Christian household where God is not given the glory for all he has done. I am beyond blessed!!! I am also thankful for my father in law, he doesn't get to see the grandkids as often as he would like during farm season, but he sees them all the same. My kids are lucky to have both sets of grandparents.

Klaire ~ 11 wks

Kylan & 4-H camp

Kylan went to a 2-day 4-H day camp that concentrated on science. He had a blast! He said they got to hunt for bugs, learn about bugs, play in sprinklers, play with water balloons, draw, eat, paint shirts, and tons of other things. They offer a 4-H program for his age throughout the school year, so I think that we will try it and see how he likes it. He says he wants to join and I think it would be a good educational activity to join. The picture is a mobile upload so it is not the best quality, but I took it when I picked him up today and they were still outside with the water balloons.

Pool Fun

Monday night we went swimming with the Wrights! I didn't get in since I had Miss Priss, but the kids had a blast. Klaire did test the waters for just a minute with her daddy, but she was NOT a big fan, ha!

Fun visit

Before Kylan's awards ceremony, Jace, Klaire & I went to visit my friend Micah. She has a little girl that is 10 days younger than Klaire. We both had the same due date, so it was neat for our girls to meet. She also has a little boy that is about 6 mths. older than Jace. They had fun playing together while we chatted. I got a pic. of the boys, but both the girls slept the entire visit, so maybe next time!

Kylan's news

Kylan had his award ceremony yesterday at school. I was SUPER proud of him!! He has has all S's all year and got the award for highest reading scores in his class. His teacher was super impressed with his literacy scores. He scored a 4.0 on his literacy computer test, which in this case doesn't mean a 4.0 grade (perfect) but means that his reading comprehension is that of a beginning fourth grader. His computer math scores were 3.2, meaning third grade, 2nd mth. Soooo, I am one PROUD momma!!! He also, found out who his 2nd grade teacher will be. We are hoping for a great year next year! :)
In other news, he had basketball camp this week and loved it!

Girls Night Out

Tuesday night us girls (Shea, Chandra, & Cassie) met to eat supper and catch up. It was the first time for Chan & Cass to meet Klaire, so I was excited for us to go. Plus it is always fun to see all the kids together. We didn't get to see Cassie's sweet girl (it was her bedtime) but the boys kept us entertained for sure. They are both at a fun age and are active, which I love!

Family Pics

We had some family pictures taken Saturday and I was so, so, so pleased with them! Here are a few of my favorites. If you want to see the rest, they are on facebook. Gosh, there was just too many that I loved to put them all on here, lol!
