Memorial Day Fun

We didn't do a lot today but we still had a great time! We went to Malinda & Roy's house, along with Angela & Jeremy and of course all the kiddos to grill out. It is always great to have wonderful friends to spend time with! The kids of course had a blast. I got a picture of all of the kids minus Jordan. Poor kiddo was worn out and napping when we got the pic. I have no clue how he slept with all of the other kids running around. What a great and relaxing day!

Year End Party

Jace had his end of the year party at his preschool Friday. His teachers invited him to join them to celebrate. We brought his friends treat bags and said goodbye since he won't see them again until the fall. I can't believe how much they have all grown over this year!!!

Klaire ~ 2 mths

Our sweet Klaire is 2 mths. old already! We took her to the doc. yesterday for her check-up and shots. No fun! She did really well though! She now weighs 11.7 (70th percentile) and is 23 inches long (75th percentile). Her pediatrician said she looks great!! Soooo.....a few things about Miss Priss:
Likes: mommy and mommy only a lot of times, starting to like baths a little more, eating, sleeping, and of course being held all of the time
Dislikes: the carseat, being put down, tummy time, & shoes

Things going on: Klaire loves to smile, has laughed a few times, and tries her best to roll over from her back to belly......she is still on reflux meds (we have increased dosage) and prescription gas drops......she is not nearly as colicky as she was, though she still has good days and bad days. She is taking between 4-5 oz. when I pump, which is not often. I try to give her a bottle that I have pumped at least once a day, 4 out of 7 days a week so that she doesn't refuse it later on. She is a great nurser, thank goodness.

Most of all............she is our sweet baby girl who melts our hearts! We love her soooo much and as crazy as it is around here, we can't imagine it any other way!!! The Lord has blessed us so much with our family!!

Jace's birthday party!

We celebrated Jace's 3rd birthday today with a small party at the state park. Whew it was hot! We did a baseball theme since he is playing tball this year. We had a lot of fun getting together things for the snack table. It could have been a lot better, but I did what I could with what little time I had, and preparation I cold squeeze in with a newborn, lol! Jace got lots of outside stuff, which I am soooo thankful for! We don't need anything else to junk up the house, ha! We (us, & my parents)got him a train table, and Andee & Mackey got him a mud activity table! Fun stuff! He will love them both, and be hopefully entertained for hours! Other fun stuff....a golf set and water toys (thanks Tiff & Camilla), and a bubble gun and clothes (Thanks Maggie & Macie, Aunt AA & Uncle Jeremy) and a scooter, along with other toys (Thanks Meme & Poppie)! He had a blast!

Happy 3rd Birthday Jace

Three years ago today, my sweet baby boy was born at 7lbs. I can't even begin to tell you how much joy he has brought to me. He is so laid back and such a good little boy! I am so in love with him at this age. He has such good manners, and beautiful big brown eyes! Happy Birthday baby boy! To celebrate my mom & I took him to his school to bring cupcakes to his "friends" as he says. We let him stay and play until it was time to pick up Kylan from school. Tonight we had a small cake to celebrate at home. We will have his family birthday party on Sunday. Stay tuned for pics!

Kylan's Field Day

Yesterday was Kylan's Field Day at School. He was in 3 events....the 3-legged race, relay race, & tug-a-war. I ran back & forth between my Kindergarten class & his 1st grade class so that I could take pictures of both. It was fun seeing my class and visiting with them. Kylan had a great time and did really well. They get ribbons for their events, so that makes their day! I apologize for all of the pics. It was soooo bright outside that I had a hard time getting any good ones. I should have changed settings, but it was crazy hectic, and I am still learning that camera.

Kylan's Field Trip

John really didn't want to take the camera, but he finally gave in. I was proud that he took pics for me. He dropped me, Klaire, & Jace off at the mall while he went to Pump it Up. I put Klaire in the sling and held Jace's hand and off we went. Boy was I nervous! You wouldn't think with this being my third kiddo that I would be, but since she has been so colicky I was worried that she might be a mess and I wouldn't have any help. This was the first time I took her & Jace by myself anywhere. I always bring reinforcement, ha! We shopped in Target forever, the I had to run in JCP for some towels. They were both FANTASTIC!!! We even had time for Jace to play abour 45 min. in the play area too! John & Kylan came & picked us up and we headed to get groceries. Kylan said he had a lot of fun!

This week has flown by again. Monday I had my 6 week check-up. Tuesday & Wednesday was spent outside when we could go out and working on orders. Thursday Jace had a screening for his speech again to see if he has improved. Well the great news is that he did!! YAY!! Also, he had lots of marks in the 4 and a half year old range for language! Way to go Jace! I let him stay a while and visit with his friends at school. He had a great time playing with them again. It has been almost 7 weeks since he has been out. He didn't really want to leave, but when I said it was time to go he was such a big boy. He went and hugged his teachers and left. I am so proud of that little man! We will go back for his end of the year party and I may even take cupcakes to his class next week for his birthday and let him eat with his class. Can't believe he will be 3 next week! I took pics of him playing but they are on his disposable camera that I kept at school for his teachers to use, so I will have to post them later once I get them developed and scanned. My mom & I also went to a couple of flea markets. We found a chair for$3 and my mom painted it and replaced the seat with new fabric. It looks awesome! I needed it for my desk. Today is Kylan's field trip to Pump it Up. John is going with him. I doubt I get pics but I am going to send the camera with him anyway, lol.

Mother's Day

Mother's Day was super special this year. It is always special because I am a mother, but this year we were able to have Klaire's dedication at church. We dedicated both the boys the Mother's Day after they were born as well. It was so great having all of my family there and just to know that we have a wonderful church family who will always support us. I pray that all of my children will grow up to know the loving & awesome God that I know & love! After church we all went and ate Chinese and then the guys headed home while us girls headed to the movies. I felt bad taking Klaire to the movies with us since she was so little, but it was time for her to eat and we didn't bring a bottle with us. She ended up sleeping through the entire movie and woke up ready to eat as soon as it was over. What an angel! We saw The Backup Plan. It was cute. Hope all of you Mother's had a fantastic Mother's Day!

Out & About

This week has been a busy one. Monday we had our daily walk as well as my dentist appt. While we were walking we saw 4 animals that look like groundhogs. I have never seen one in person, but after searching for pics on the internet that is all we could come up with. I will add the picture and you can guess for yourselves. Tuesday I went with my mom to her dentist appt., just to get out of the house. Wednesday I went to Kylan's book fair with him and then mom & I headed to town to run errands with Jace & Klaire in tow. It is wonderful to be able to go and do now. Her meds really seem to be helping, thank the good Lord! Today we didn't get out of our pj's all day. We did head up to the church tonight for a prayer for National Prayer Day. Anyway, wanted to update and post a few new pics!

What day is it?

Being off of work I rarely know what day it is, lol. I know we had ballgames this last week, but other than that, and dealing with our colicky baby girl, we haven't been doing much. Well besides walking the floors, ha! Friday we (John, Jace, Klaire, & I) went to town to get groceries & run some errands. That night the storms began. We got a lot of rain, but other than that it wasn't too bad. John took the boys to get haircuts Saturday morning and then Saturday night came more storms. My parents called and said a tornado was on the ground near our area & asked if we wanted to come over. We ran next door with the kiddos until the danger was out of our area. The boys climbed in a cardboard shelter & ate chips in the living room while we watched the weather.
