Thanksgiving and everything in between!

So we had sooooo much to be thankful for this Thanksgiving, as well as everyday! We are so thankful for our beautiful boys & now for this sweet little girl. We headed to John's parents for lunch since Andrea & Mackey were gone, as well as my parents. We then went to my grandma Sanders for supper to visit. We had a great day just relaxing and eating of course! Black Friday was a day that I opted to stay at home and clean. I got rid of lots of clutter, well actually it is in piles in the house until I can get rid of it, but still out of its previous location. John, Kylan, and his dad worked all day on his dad's 60-something chevelle that they are rebuilding. We then went out to eat with his parents that night and headed to get our tree. They were closed so John had to wait until Saturday morning to go get it instead. My daddy worked on my laundry room most of the day and got my counter top up, baseboards, trim, etc. Hopefully we can finish painting and getting shelves and things in the next couple of weeks. I am hoping to have it completely done by the 14th when I host our Young Mother's club meeting at my house. We shall see. I ran to town to meet up with Chan, and Shea to see Cassie's sweet baby girl while John and all three boys played. Mom came over later during the Razorback game and decorated the living room tree. As the Hogs lost the game and she was putting up the last 3 or 4 ornaments the tree came crashing down. The trunk had split...UGH...so she took everything off and had to redo the entire thing today. Tiffany came down today and visited and brought me some girl stuff that Camilla had never got to wear and some other baby stuff. YAY! I also have started making some bows for our baby girl. Can you tell I am excited??? lol

Cloud 9

Okay, so we had full intentions of not finding out what the gender. When she weighed me the ultrasound tech said, "Let's go see what we are having!" I then reminded her that we didn't want to find out. Went through the whole spill of this is our fourth & final, didn't want to be disappointed spill over and over. She then said, but what if it is a girl, do you want me to tell you then. I said, "Well, no, cause then when you didn't tell us we would know it was a boy." She was like, oh shoot, never mind, of course and so we headed into the room. She started measuring everything without saying a word. She got to that "area" and I was thinking...I don't see the "turtle" but I still didn't say anything, thinking I am just being hopeful it is a girl. She then moves on and then turns to me and says, "Are you SURE you don't want to know. She then repeats this, so I look at John who says, "Up to you babe!" I look back at her and she repeats again....ARE YOU SURE YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW! So by then, I am like ok, so if she is saying this it has to be a girl. So of course I say, ok, tell me. I started crying like a baby when she says those words I have waited forever to hear....IT's A GIRL! I almost had her in tears she said, ha! Don't get me wrong we would have loved this little angel no matter what, but we are tickled "PINK" that we are getting a little girl! Sooooo now on to decorating and repainting for our sweet little Klaire LilyAnn!!!

Oh, also so they know they are important of course, lol, I had lunch with my fabulous collges girlfriends before my appt, and we got to shop a little. It was our last time with Cassie not being a mommy! She goes in tomorrow to have her little girl! We are so excited to see her!

Halfway there!

I am halfway through this pregnancy! WHOO HOO! I really believe it is over halfway over since I had both the boys at least 14-17 days early. I would love to have this baby on March 20th. For 2 reasons, one that is my grandpa Martin's b-day. This baby, regardless of gender, will be named after the Martin side so I think that would make it extra special. Also, both the boys were born on the 20th, though different months, both the 20th. Kylan was due Oct. 2 and I had him on Sept. 20th. Jace was due on June 4th and was born on May 20th. I told John when I was pregnant with Jace that I would have him on the 20th and sure enough I did! So....I know that it is highly unlikely that this little one will be born on the 20th, it is a nice thought. Anyway, also Jace just turned 2 1/2 this month. WOW!! Can't believe the little guy is already halfway to 3!! Oh, and oh my looking back at pics from Month 2,3,& 4, I am soooo gaining weight in the face! Curious to see how much I have gained when we go Wednesday. I am only suppose to have gained about 10 lbs. so far and I had already gained 9 of that by my last appt., so I should have only gained 1 lb. in this last month. I am betting on about 8 more though! YIKES!

Where did the week go????

Monday was back to school again! I had club meeting that night. Tuesday was school and then orders that night. Wednesday Jace finished up his flu study that he has been in. He had to have blood drawn, and did great. He did cry but not long at all. We then headed to church. Thursday school again and then a relaxing night. Friday night we met Christina, Jarrod, and baby Stratton. He is growing so fast and was an angel. Unlike my boys during supper. UGH! It is so going to be a 3 ring circus once this other baby gets in the picture, ha! We had a great time catching up with them, and don't see them enough! Love you guys! Saturday we dropped off the boys at their Meme's house so that we could head to the Razorback game. We wanted to get their early enough to set up and tailgate. We had a blast and it is always best when they win, so GO HOGS!!! Today is church and then an appreciation get together for an elder in the church and then back to p.m. services. YAY for a short week at school too!

Beautiful weather

I would love to say that I have been enjoying this beautiful weather, but I have been inside working on orders. The boys have enjoyed it with their daddy for me though! Mom and I did take time to go to the craft show this weekend where I got some cute ideas. I also bought tons more ornaments for a dining tree this year. I have been wanting to do a lime green and brown one for a couple of years but already had a TON of red/gold ornaments and hated to just get rid of them. Soooo I decided, why not...let's just do two big ones this year. So while I worked on orders mom came over Saturday night and decorated my buffet and a tree in my dining room. I LOVE IT!!! I am doing two small trees for each of the boys rooms as well. Kylan's will be skateboard of course to match his room, not sure yet though on Jace's. I know it sounds crazy and I normally don't put up a tree this early, but I just couldn't help it this year! Plus, the one in the living room is always real so I will have to wait to put that one up! I also don't have a place to put our stockings (they are usually laid out in the floor on Christmas morning) so this year I got an iron coat rack that I will use for stockings, that way I can use it year round as well!

Veteran's Day

Today we had a Veteran's Day program at the school. Mackey surprised Kylan and came to sit with him. Mackey was invited since he was in the Airforce. Kylan felt special though and I was honored to have my bro-in-law there to be honored. So thankful for all those who serve our country!

Back to my roots!

Okay guys, I am back to my roots! I am officially a brunette again for the winter! I LOVE it dark. I am really pale right now so I probably look a little washed out, but it is going to be so much easier to mess with without having to worry about roots and finding the time to go get my highlights touched up. By the way, I have on no make-up in the pic so I look rough. Other than that I am trying my hand at bow making. I see why people charge so much for bows too! Other than that things have been slower around here thank goodness. Friday night we met the Zac & Nichole (our preacher & his wife) to eat supper and then back to our house to watch a movie. Saturday we headed to town to get groceries and my hair appt. was that morning. Sunday was church and then lunch at mom & dad's house. Today was back to school for the week. Tomorrow is school, staff meeting, and then a silent auction for our Young Women's club. Wednesday I have inservice after school for some extra money (YAY), and then the rest of the week should slow down again. So onto orders the end of the week. Hope everyone is having a great start to their week!

RIP Brax

I had a doc appt for my lab work on Monday for all the tests they do for baby. I always wonder whether I should put myself through the agony or not, but I would rather be prepared if something were wrong. Anyway, on the way my neighbor called & informed me that Kylan's dog Brax was hit by a truck..I texted John and he went home to bury him with the help of my bro-in-law. We weren't going to tell Kylan, but instead just say he had ran off. Unfortunately, a neighbor told him first thing at school that his dog had been run over. Soooo, here comes Kylan crying to me. I get him through school and home where we tell him that Mackey found him & buried him. Well, then it sinks in that it is true and his dog is gone. John takes him to see where he was buried and bless his heart, he had found a cross in his room from a necklace and put it on the tree next to where Brax was buried. He just boo-hooed and wailed the rest of the night. Sooooo, please keep him in your prayers. (And John too, that was his hunting dog and he was very upset as well!)

Halloween 2009

More to come later!
