staying busy

I can't believe that it has been a week since I posted. Gosh it has been a busy one though. I will start with where I left off again, but will have to post pictures later. Andrea has been taking them and I don't have them yet. Saturday night we (my sis & I) were able to go see baby Stratton. He was a complete angel the whole time we were there. Such a cutie too! Sunday was church and then Monday was off to the first full week of school. Tuesday was dad's birthday and we celebrated that night at their house with supper & cake of course! (love you dad, hope your b-day was special) Wednesday night was church night and then nothing but school the rest of the week. I have a an order to do every night so that is keeping me busy as well. The boys and I have also been playing outside everyday because it has just been too pretty to sit inside. I am ready for some full blown fall weather and football now. Friday night I just didn't feel good. John took the boys to his mom's to let them play with cousin Cameron for a little while so I could take a nap. Today has been busy playing outside, and running to town for supplies to finish up the laundry room project that never got finished over the summer. By the way, props to Home Depot for the car shopping carts. Walmart should seriously take the hint. It would make grocery shopping soooo much easier. Anyway, I want everything finished and the house in order before we add our little addition the the family. As all of you know by now, we are expecting again and are super excited. We are not finding out the gender this time. My reasoning is this.....everyone knows that we would love a little girl....however my gut tells me (& most everyone else) that we will have another boy and that I will continue to be outnumbered. BUT....I think it will be easier to welcome another boy in the family when we wait & find out in the delivery room. We will of course LOVE another sweet little boy just as we do our others, and if, and it is a HUGE IF it is a little girl, then how much fun would that surprise be. Anyway, God knows what we need & honestly as long as they glorify him, then I couldn't be more thrilled! Wish us luck, we go to our first doc. appt. this coming Friday to see our first ultrasound!!! I am staying really nauseous, which I did with Jace, and really tired, but of course all of that is normal!

Those car-carts are my lifesavers. I avoid walmart b/c they don't have them--all the other grocery stores in town have them and I pay the price by paying more. But in the end it's worth it. :)
And congrats again on the baby!!

i don't know who invented car shopping carts and strollers but God bless them!!! only bad thing is elijah likes them so much he screams when he has to get out....BUT that is better than him screaming throughout the entire store/mall...

I am soooo excited for you!!! I know you will be happy boy or girl! Babies are such a joy!
BTW Kroger has the car carts but I don't like car carts b/c they are really hard to steer....& I don't usually let Gavin ride in them b/c I'm a germaphob who makes him use a "baby" cart cover still. I think I need to chill out a little! lol
