Tomorrow is Sunday already???

I can't believe that tomorrow is the last day of my winter break. It has gone by way too fast, as do the summers. (Chan, good luck going back Mon. by the way.) I know so many of us are not ready for our breaks to be over, Kylan included, as well as Jace, I'm sure. On that note, however, I plan to go back with my spirit on fire, ready to do the best job that I can. I have sweet kiddos and I want to see their faces light up for learning and want to really get them caught up in excitement for the rest of the year. This is the longest and hardest part of the year for them but we can tackle it together and have fun doing it. Yesterday was pretty relaxing for us all. John got up and went duck hunting until almost lunch, while I was busy taking the Christmas things down. I was proud of myself for dragging the 9 ft. tree outside by myself. :) I HATE taking down the tree. It is not the work, but the fun of seeing it looking sooo pretty. Christmas is just not long enough for all of the pretty decorations. I decided after shopping today to put up 2 trees next year. Mine in the living room is red/gold, but I have really been wanting lime green/chocolate. I hated to just see all of my red/gold disappear after buying so much of it, so I thought I would solve the problem by having both. I started collecting my green/choc. today after shopping with mom and Stacy. We headed to the fabric store (after sometime with John's GPS taking us on some scary gravel roads and a rickety bridge.) Or as Stacy called her....Ethel. John refers to her as Linda, lol. Anyway, we got some bargains today and I of course found Christmas items AFTER I had it all boxed. Oh well! Tomorrow is church and Shea's first baby shower. I am excited for her and can't wait to see all of her, excuse me, Madden's goodies. :)
