Sat. night fun!

I know this blog should have been before the Mother's Day one, but we got in late Sat. night, and then with Mother's Day yesterday I got distracted...Saturday night John and I ventured out with friends Christina and Jarrod and went to Memphis. We ate supper and then went to a really interesting show at the Orpheum theater. It was called Bowfire. As stated on http://www.bowfire.com/show......

Bowfire presents an "All Star Show" of the finest lineup of fiddle and violin virtuosos ever assembled on one stage. It takes its audiences on a musical journey that moves seamlessly from Jazz, Classical, Bluegrass, Celtic, Rock, Gypsy, World, Texas Swing and Ottawa Valley and Cape Breton styles and mixes in incredible step and tap dancing and a beautiful voice. All of this gets wrapped around a fast-paced show with first class production values that include great sound, choreography, dramatic lighting, set design and costumes.

It was an excellent show, and we really had a lot of fun!
