Celebrations galore

I took my personal day Friday for Kylan's preschool picnic to celebrate their graduation. Kylan was very well behaved and had a great time. They played lots of games as well. Kylan was so proud because he won tug a war and his class won Red Rover over the other 5 year old class. Afterwards we even went to Subway and got him a cookie. He didn't want to stay and take a nap (who would, well except for all of us exhausted mommies!) so we came home. We then headed to Jonesboro to get a few things for Jace's 1st birthday party. We had that today. We had a few close friends and family to help us celebrate at the city park. Nothing fancy, just a simple party. In fact, you can tell that I am so unorganized when it comes to these things. I didn't even order a cake, I know, I know, I am HORRIBLE! We picked up a cupcake cake and then got Jace an individual one for him to devour all by himself, which he did quite well. It was all over him! It was fun though, and he got lots of great stuff. I took pictures to help me remember and to put in his baby book. Other than that we are having a relaxing day. I am going to try to get his first birthday pictures with cake and a birthday hat sometime this week, but am waiting on his face to clear up from his eczema, if that is possible! When I get them I will post them as soon as possible. We will be celebrating Jace's first birthday over the next few days since it is not until Tues. We bought him whole milk this weekend to switch him from breastmilk on his birthday. That is a celebration in itself! It's been a long year in that aspect, but YAY we made it formula free for a whole year! WHOO HOO!!!

Happy Birthday Jace! Who cares if you didn't order a cake? I made betty crocker cupcakes for Kate's--the kids don't care!
